Plus Size Outerwear Can Make A Difference

Jackets, coats and clothing alike are great to purchase, not only for cool weathers, but also for the sake of fashion. Depending on the design, color, pattern and even fabric, one can use a piece of outerwear as an accent.
Plus Size Outerwear
1. Design – There are different designs for plus size outerwear, ranging from long trench coats to boleros; sweaters to puffer jackets and many others. Of course, when buying a piece, one should know where and when they would use it. There are many outerwear clothing which can help women hide their full figures. At the same time, certain designs are built for functionality and comfort.
2. Color – Color has always had an effect on the eyes. Most of the time, black is used by plus sized people because it can make them seem slimmer. Nonetheless, larger sized women can also buy outerwear with bright colors to bring out the colors of their eyes and skin. They can also enhance the appearance of their hips, breasts and many others. Observe in the mirror whichever works well for you.
3. Pattern – Patterns can also give an illusion which can affect size. In relation to color, you can definitely use patterns to give you a thinner look. For example, vertical stripes can make one thinner while horizontal ones can make people seem wider.
4. Fabric – Fabric sometimes is an indicator of fashion but if you’re not that much keen on fashion, this is just an added plus. Fur has always been a popular choice since it keeps people warm. Yet another is cashmere and even denim for cool nights. Nowadays, even women wear leather and it can look stylish. Whatever fabric a plus sized person chooses, it will always depend on the design of the coat and at the same time, the feel.

Totally Awesome Vintage Sunglasses

Sunglasses, especially vintage sunglasses, are all the rage and it is not hard to figure out why. With the popularity of such sunglass models as the Ray Ban Wayfarers literally flying off the shelves, it is obvious that the vintage sunglasses are a big trend these days. But there is more to vintage sunglasses than just Ray Bans. There are a ton of designers out there that are tapping into designing vintage inspired sunglasses that are, well, totally awesome!

Karen Walker is probably one the more notable designers that constantly produces great vintage inspired eyewear. And although she does shelve out a fabulous line of ready to wear clothing and jewelry, I am personally very much in love with her eyewear line. The Epiphany model for $180 is simply a great example of an awesome pair of vintage sunglasses.

The Quiksilver brand is known for cool and funky skate, surf and snowboarding apparel, but it seems that their sunglasses line is immerging as an even hotter line. The Griffin Sunglasses is a great unisex sunglass that screams 80’s all over it. Reminiscent of those old 3D glasses that you use to wear in the movie theatre, the Griffin has a simple medium sized rectangular plastic frame and dark lenses.
